Seif El-Bassiouni is Group Head of Finance for EFG Hermes’ NBFI business. In addition to his role as board member in Tanmeyah, Seif is also a board member in valU, EFG Hermes Corp-Solutions, Bedaya Mortgage Finance and Pylon.
Prior to this role, Seif was a Director of EFG Hermes’ Investment Bank Division where he spent 10 years. During that time, Seif successfully lead and executed several large scale IPO’s and M&A transactions in different sectors including microfinance, real estate, commodity trading, healthcare, building materials and business process outsourcing. Before joining EFG Hermes, Seif spent two years with Beltone Financials’ Asset Management Division where he was responsible for banking sector allocation across the MENA region.
Seif graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University in Cairo
